Equine Therapy

Connect with horses in a safe and supportive environment

Horse Hub Therapy & Healing Centre offers a unique form of healing that can be incredibly beneficial for people who are having a hard time.

We specialise in the integration of therapeutic experiences with the assistance of our exceptional herd, assisting in building the awareness and understanding of human and animal psychology.

Horses are incredibly intuitive animals and they can often sense when someone is struggling, this makes them perfect for therapy. This is a form of treatment that has been shown to be very effective in treating anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

We offer Equine Therapy to those who have disabilities ranging from physical and mental abilities – or if you are looking for an activity to increase emotional awareness through the form of mindfulness, this is perfect for you!

Equine Therapy Services

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an innovative form of learning. Clients have the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge on several skills through their experiences with horses.

EAL can assist in both personal and professional development, developing leadership skills in individuals and teams. It is a fast-growing mode of learning not only Australia wide, but also Internationally! We are excited to offer this service to individuals and families here in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region. Children, young people and adults benefit greatly from EAL services.

Why therapy with horses?

Horses are beautiful, intelligent, sensitive and strong animals who can evoke strong feelings in clients or engage clients in the learning process. Calm and healthy horses may assist in co-regulating a client’s nervous system, model healthy living and expression of feelings, as well as offering non-judgmental and safe environment. Horses can offer unique bio feedback and hold clients in a way that traditional learning environments cannot. The natural environment can also contribute positively to learning outcomes for the clients.
